YFL FAQ

What is CFC-YFL? The Couples For Christ Youth for Family and Life is one of
the organizations under the umbrella of Couples for Christ Foundation For Family
and Life(CFC-FFL). CFC-YFL helps spread the good news to youth by creating an
environment in the community that is appealing and life-giving to young adults. In
this organization, the youth are taught to be missionaries of the Heavenly Father,
as they gather together for a time of fun, worship, and praise.

Who can be in CFC-YFL? CFC-YFL is open to young adults, ages 12 to 21 years
old. Children of CFC-FFL members make-up a majority of the Youth members, but
anyone is invited to join. CFC-YFL does not discriminate people from learning and
experiencing God’s magnificent power.

CFC-YFL is a Catholic organization, but is open to Christians of other
denominations. Young adults need not have any specific religious or spiritual
background. CFC-YFL has open arms to anyone willing to join.

How do I join CFC-YFL? Membership in CFC-YFL is through the Youth Camp.

What is a Youth Camp? A youth camp is a three-day retreat, usually on a
weekend Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Here young adults find a place where
they will hear the Word of God spoken by other young adults like themselves in an
environment of fun and excitement. At the Youth Camp, young adults will create
new friendships with each other as they play games, share ideas and experience
and entertain one another in a wholesome environment where Christian values are
talked about and are actively practiced

Who handles the Youth Camp? The Youth Camp are being handled by the actual Youths members.  There is a Youth service team, which are senior youth members that actually plans the events, select the music, share their experiences and guides the new candidates.   This was meant to foster Christian leadership to the next generation.

Don't worry, even though its the youth service teams that does the actual camp, all of this activities are monitored by the CFC (Couples for Christ) YFL leaders and Parent coordinators.  All their activities needs to be approved before they are implemented.

During the whole camp, the event is supervised and monitored by the parent coordinators and volunteers. While the youth members handles the actual events, the parents are the one that handles the security, food preparation and logistics.  Also during the actual events a set of coordinators are present to make sure that the topics are within the bounds of worship.
